Our new house!

Since no one has been to our new house yet, I thought I'd share some pictures. We love it here! The house isn't perfect by any means, there's quite a few quirky things, but all in all, it's our dream house. These pics are just the outside, so I'll have to get around to getting some inside shots soon.

First day of school 2008!

Timothy had already headed out for the bus stop, and was grumpy due to it being the first day of school, so no pics of him.
But here is JJ and Mikey! It's their first day at their new school in a new school district. They had met so many new friends in the neighborhood that they were very excited!

JJ getting ready to go in the ambulance, and JJ after they got him all sewed back together. My heart just broke for that little guy! But true to form, the next morning at 9:30, I caught him riding his bike! GRRRR!

JJ gave us quite a scare!

On Sept. 27th, JJ was outside going off of his homemade jumps off of his bike. Well, he landed wrong, flipped over the handle bars and went face first into the ground! Hi split his face open between his nose and his top lip, but he also got his bell wrung pretty good. He was clearly not himself at all. Again we rushed off to urgent care and they promptly told me he needed to be transported by ambulance to a hospital. His blood pressure was pretty low, he clearly had a concussion and they were afraid that his nose and/or cheek bone might be broken. The Dr there contacted MaryBridge in Tacoma but they didn't have an ENT specialist on call right then so they started talking about airlifting him to Harborview! My heart was in my throat. To my relief they were able to get a hold of and ENT at Harrison Hospital so I followed the abmulance and did lots of praying in the car. Long story short, no broken bones. Only a concussion and a nasty laceration on his face that needed stitches. He was actually bummed because his nose wasn't broken! This child is crazy! I'm hoping and praying that this little accident will instill even an ounce of fear into him, but I'm pretty sure it will take a much bigger boo-boo to accomplish that. He wants to be a stuntman after all!

Here's Mikey after they stitched him up.

He was not happy with JJ at all. But JJ did feel really bad, and we all told him it was just an accident. But he learned a very important lesson about throwing rocks!

Too many stitches lately!

First of all, on Aug. 21st, Mikey and JJ were down the street at their friend's house. Mikey and his little friend were up in the tree house, while JJ and his friend were on the ground throwing rocks up at the tree house. Mikey poked his head out of the window just as JJ had pelted a rock, hitting Mikey right in his little cheek. We went immediately to Urgent Care and Mikey received 16 stitches. This picture was taken before they stitched him. He wanted me to take a picture so he could see what he looked like.

Hello family and friends!

I am starting a blog as an easier way for friends and family from across the land to keep up on us! I'll add lots of pictures and fill in everyone on the happenings in the Jamison household. Enjoy!
